Implement checklist for each event. Revise and update CAC forms. Collaborate with evening faculty on speaker and/or video series. 3a 4a 4b Create a form that outlines CAC policies. Make forms available on website. Goal 1: Linkage to Other Plans Year-End Status and Accomplishments Annual events were listed on Sac’s calendar, electricity, web site and Public Information office announcements Two major speakers this year included Mary Chin, nationally known poet, which was co-sponsored with English/Literature. Also, Kevin Johnson former professional basketball player, now entrepreneur/developer in Sacramento, was co-sponsored with the African Scholars Alliance. Goal 2: Events were revised to better manage program logistics and Student Center reservations. Forms were revised as needed. Goal 3: Bob Wren, Music instructor, collaborated with the CAC to have a monthly series called World Music in conjunction with his evening classes. The CAC co-sponsored with Susan Chaney, a speaker and video for evening students at the Davis campus. The RISE Program co-sponsored with the CAC three evenings of video and discussion events. Goal 4: CAC policies have been reviewed and written for student workers and a short list placed on tables. A work in progress. Forms are placed on web sites as needs, i.e., nomination forms for women’s awards program. Year-End Status and Accomplishments The ASG has continued to have a good working relationship with the CAC. This year the president of the GLTB Club collaborated on four events that were well attended. The Africa Scholars and MeCHE Club both co-sponsored events with the CAC through out the semester. 5a Goal 6: To have video clips on Blackboard and Website. 6a To have access to digital video camera to tape programs for marketing. To continue to work closely with media 6c instruction. Other Accomplishments: 6b The web site is being updated and photo gallery improved. Melissa Green has worked with the CAC on Blackboard information. Digital video camera was not purchased this school year. CAC clerk continues to attend workshops to improve her understanding of multimedia. Food is served at our events and people bring food into the CAC. To capture events for the CAC archives and for event photo taking. LCD projector/video and camera to be located and mounted in the CAC for use by faculty and facility use.
