Presentation Requirements
Introduction: Welcome participants, state your names & topic of presentation.
Be friendly! Your audience members will be excited to meet you & listen to your topic.
Rationale: Why did you choose to create this particular presentation? Background information.
Goals: What is it that the participants should learn from your presentation?
Based upon your topic consider these:
Anatomy?
Symptoms?
Advice?
Medical treatments?
Equipment uses?
Nutrient information?
Content: Demonstrate, role-play, lecture & pictures, hands-on activity, song, etc.
Your creativity comes into play here. Think about your audience and how they like to learn information.
Questions: Answer participants’ un-answered questions, beginning with; “great question!.............”
Think like the audience! Who, What, Where, When, How, and How much…….are some starters to questions.
Try to anticipate all angles of your topic, enough to be ready with loads of answers.
Assessment: Ask participant about key points that they NOW know, because of your presentation.
Return to your GOALS. Ask reflective questions that will give you feedback as to if YOU met your goals.
Closing statement: Reflect key points of presentation & thank the participants.
