Project description:
You are asked to solve a boundary-valued problem using finite difference method (
EE 340 Lab) inside a geometry as shown in example 6.5 page 211 (b=2a =10 cm).
However, the top horizontal plate is grounded, whereas the U-shape one is placed at a
potential of 200 V. The system is filled with a dielectric constant of 40.
1. Determine the potential inside the structure at A(1,1,8), B(2,6,3) (unit
cm).[hint: choose a convenient step to pass by these points].
2. Draw the equipotential lines inside the structure in the x-y plane.
Use MATLAB or any other programming language to execute this project.
