Outer Space: The children are having a blast learning all about space! Last week we talked about
who and what goes to outer space. This week we will be talking all about astronauts!
Family Project: Reminder; our family project was due on Monday April 13th, if you have not done so
please return it to school as soon as possible!
Little Red School House: Our field trip to the Little Red School House is this week! The AM session will
go on Tuesday April 14th and the PM session will go on Thursday April 16th. We are so excited!  We
look forward to a great day. Also, please dress your child for the weather on the day of the trip, as
we will be going on a nature walk.
Week of the Young Child: It’s the Week of the Young Child! We are so excited for all of the fun
activities that we have planned for this week! It’s going to be awesome!
Bus of Fun: If you have not done so, please sign the green Bus of Fun waiver for Friday. The kids are
excited for all the dancing on the bus!  If you need another copy please let me know.
Parent Workshop Opportunity: On Wednesday April 15th, from 6:30-8:00 pm there will be a parent
workshop on the Importance of Play here at Kolmar School in the library. If you are interested in
attending please RSVP to Kim Blitek in the EC office at (708) 423-8386.
Book Orders: Book orders went home this week. If you are interested in ordering books please do
so by Friday April 17th. Make checks payable to Scholastic. 
