Job Description: Graduate Assistant for Transform UDM! (ADVANCE) Research Project Main Role: To support interdisciplinary research team in the completion of various research-oriented duties pertaining to the TRANSFORM UDM! (ADVANCE) – An NSF funded research project examining (in general) the faculty workplace climate and, more specifically, the needs of STEM women faculty here at UDM. Task Matrix Duties & Responsibilities - Communication Data Analysis NetWalking - Report to co-PI Dr. Slowik to coordinate and execute ongoing project data analyses - Support project team with the planning, promotion, and coordination of NetWalking project/events Maintain accurate NetWalking records (liability waivers, attendance, promotional materials, other metrics as requested/required) Serve as webpage Administrator to perform general webpage maintenance (research/other updates as directed) - Webpage Documentation & Recordkeeping - Other Maintain open lines of communication with entire project team via email/attendance of weekly team meetings to report task progress/coordinate team efforts - Other - Occasional meetings with stakeholder groups and project events - Compose tables/charts (when appropriate) to clearly communicate findings to project team & key stakeholders - Attendance of NetWalking events - Occasional contact with UDM Tech. faculty & Webpage Admin. Maintain accurate and organized records of work outputs (e.g. charts, tables) Establish and maintain thorough familiarity and understanding with project dataset(s), scales, items, and other components related to UDM Faculty Work Experience Survey and completed data analyses thereof Self-reporting/submission of work timesheet Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism regarding the handling of all data/dataset(s) and research findings Choose and order participant incentives and maintain accurate records/receipts (when applicable) Occasional creation of project forms, promotional materials, other team project duties Required Core Competencies Strong communication skills and familiarity/competence with relevant technology (e.g. MS Office Suite, SPSS, Survey Monkey, WordPress) Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Equally effective both as a team member and autonomously Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Commitment to standing responsibilities/ desire to absorb new responsibilities Reliable follow-through on all directives Strong ethical awareness and decision-making ability If interested in applying: DEADLINE: Please submit a resume and a short note (100 words max) explaining why you would be the best person for the job.
