Information Technology in Education ISTE/NCATE Standards for Educational Computing and Technology Leadership Advanced Programs Portfolio Rating Form Student __________________ Rater __________________ Educational Computing and Technology Leadership (TL) advanced programs meeting ISTE standards will prepare candidates to serve as technology directors, coordinators, or specialists. Special preparation in computing systems, facilities planning and management, instructional program development, staff development, and other advanced applications of technology to support student learning and assessment will prepare candidates to serve in technology-related leadership positions at district, regional, and/or state levels. Prerequisite Standards—Technology Facilitation Standards. As a prerequisite to full admission to the advanced program, candidates must demonstrate knowledge and competencies described in the Technology Facilitation Standards. 2 Standard One.
