WHEREAS, the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate is the representative
2 government of the student body at UW-Eau Claire; and
WHEREAS, the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate is committed to integrity and
4 accuracy in their elections; and

WHEREAS, the administration of elections from a paper ballot to an online ballot program was changed in the 58 th Session; and
WHEREAS, when the 58 th Session elections occurred there were issues due
8 to this new format for administrating elections; and
9 WHEREAS, the attached changes are addressing those issues;

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate adopt
Attachment “A” as amendments to the Student Senate Bylaws with immediate
12 effect; and
13 BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that upon passage, President Wrasse transmit a
14 copy of this bill to Dr. James Schmidt, Chancellor; Dr. Patricia Kleine, Provost/Vice
15 Chancellor; Dr. Beth Hellwig, Vice Chancellor, Student Affairs; Dr. Joseph Abhold,
16 Dean of Students; Mitch Freymiller, Chair, University Senate; and Kristen
17 Hendrickson, Budget and Resource Planning.
