SPORT CLUBS APPLICATION AND
SPONSORSHIP GUIDELINES
A.
Any University recognized student organization is entitled to apply for
membership in the Sport Clubs Program. Prospective Sport Clubs shall provide
the Sport Clubs Program Office with the following documents:
1.
Proof of university recognition
2.
A list of all club members, including addresses, telephone numbers, and
university ID numbers.
3.
The name of the club advisor, who shall be a faculty or staff
person of the University.
4.
A copy of your club’s constitution.
5.
A completed Sport Club’s Membership Application.

All applications will be reviewed by the Sport Club’s Advisory Council for
approval or rejection.
C.
All new sport clubs will be placed on probationary status for one year from
acceptance into the program. At the end of this period, the Sport Clubs Advisory
Council will evaluate the club’s program and objectives to determine if it should
be included as a permanent member of the University Recreation Sport Clubs
Program.
D.
The deadline for any sport club to submit an application for participation in the
program will be at their budget hearing presentation, for possible recognition the
following fall semester.
