An explanation of why the SCT Institutes are the best place to fund this project will form an important element of the
assessment process. What barriers are there to accessing other funding resources (both internally and externally)?

The REF Panel Guidance document gives an overview of the types of impact (including policy) and evidence for each of
the REF 2014 assessment panels. Examples of successful realisation of research impact and outcomes in the past are
encouraged.
