Salford City Council - Record of Decision Environment Agency Flood Resilience Project, ‘Creating an Environmentally Resilient Community’. I, Councillor Peter Connor, Lead Member for Housing, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Paragraph J a (i), of the Scheme of Delegation of the Council, do hereby approve the signing of a ‘Memorandum of Agreement’ with the Environment Agency to secure and utilise EA funding on this project. The Reason is: To gain a greater understanding of climate change and flood risk in the city and to secure investment towards the sustainable regeneration of derived inner city communities in the city.
