The Reasons are
To enable providers to retain existing experienced staff, this will provide stability for the
family support services. To give Children’s Services adequate time to re-evaluate the
current situation and put strategic planning in operation. This would necessitate a
transparent and competitive tendering process to take place in September 2010.
Assessment of Risk – low
The source of funding is - Mainstream Children’s Services budget, Area Based Grant
funding, Sure Start Grant.
