Information Technology Security and Privacy Policy for All
Managers and those responsible for computer assets & systems
RECOMMENDATIONS:
That the report be noted, the guidance adopted and
the report be published on the Intranet.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: In January 2001, Members approved the third version
of the City Council’s Security and Privacy Policy for all Computer Users. In
addition to the policy for all users, there is more detailed guidance for All
Managers and those responsible for computer assets and systems. This
document is more technical in nature and describes policies and procedures in
more detail. This report updates that guidance to bring it in-line with the policy for
all users.
