The scheme is managed by the Gtr M/c Community Foundation.

Applicants can apply for £300 to £3,000, (fast Track for £300).

Information is available from the City lottery team or Salford CVS .

To provide advice and guidance to all young people aged 13-19.

To help them make the most of their educational and vocational choices and development opportunities during their teenage years.

ESF supports vocational guidance, vocational training, projects which improve the skills of employed people to help with job retention and other programmes enabling people to move from unemployment closer to the world of work, thereby releasing capacity.

Most deprived wards The fund is targeted on the most deprived neighbourhoods and aims to bridge the gap between the most deprived and the rest. It is specifically aimed at education and skills, work and enterprise, crime reduction, health and housing and the physical environment. The government has set “floor targets” to work towards.
