REPORT
Creation of guidelines with regard to
declarations of interests, gifts and
hospitality arising as a result of Members
serving on outside bodies, together with
details of current guidelines issued by
other Greater Manchester local
authorities.
Report also to include details of corporate
hospitality offered by outside bodies and
organisations on which the City Council
has representatives
Creation of guidelines for the type of party
political information which is acceptable to
be published on the City of Salford
website.
Clarification in respect of following
aspects of Members allowances and
expenses: accepted reasons for using first class
rather than standard class travel.
 legal position with regard to claiming
the maximum allowance in respect of
subsistence expenses, when actual
costs incurred are less.
Procedures for reporting Ombudsman
and whistle blowing cases to the
Committee.
