Scott Gordon Kelcee Ramsey Greg Mulkey Trevor Hoffman Our project goal was to build a creative roller coaster track. The cost was roughly around $35 Majority of the cost came from the wood and funnels purchased at Home Depot and Wal-Mart The first step is to release the ball on the track and let it roll down each track on an incline. Second, the track will end and the ball will fall into a funnel connected to a tube. Finally, the ball will follow the tubing where it is connected to another funnel and then follow the tubing until it ends on a track. Ball - Potential and Kinetic Energy Aluminum Foil - Impulse - Friction Tubing - Friction We approximately took 7 hours in making the project. We encountered several problems - Keep the tubing at the right angle to keep the ball moving throughout the tubing - Correct angle of the aluminum foil to catch the ball YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
