Energy began as:
• From marble:
Gravitational Potential
Energy
• From mouse traps:
Spring Potential Energy
And was converted to:
• Kinetic Energy
Construction Issues
• String length for mousetraps
• Getting ramps angled correctly
• Pipe length and height
But also…
• Water is fickle
• Mouse traps never cease to surprise.
• Glue guns are hot!
Conclusions
All in all, our rollercoaster was a success.
• It made right around the allotted time
and fit into the given dimensions
• And it was fun to build!
Although it may not be too pretty to look at,
it’s pretty cool, huh?
