Bead and Ribbon Bookmark
Description: This bead and ribbon bookmark is so simple to make that it is the
perfect craft for mass production, such as making them to sell for fundraising
crafts or even making them to give away to friends and family for presents or make
as a group project.
Goals: To create an attractive bookmark that is useful and attractive as well.
Objectives:
1. Participants will learn how to cut and measure ribbon.
2. Participants will learn how to thread on beads.
3. Participants will learn how to color coordinate beads and ribbon.
Materials:
 Printed ribbon
 4 - Beads
 Scissors
Procedure:
1. Take a spool of ribbon and cut it to 12 inches.
2. Tie a knot about 1 inch in from the end.
3. Then thread your beads onto the ribbon.
4. Tie another knot at the end of the beads to stop them from falling off as shown in the picture.
5. For a great Christmas gift, use decorative Christmas ribbon and pop them into a little handmade box
or a small gift bag or use as a favor at a dinner or banquet.
