Warehouse Manager Purpose Purpose: To perform the supervisory, technical, and clerical skills to direct the operation of warehouse facilities. Responsible for the receipt, storage, and shipping of materials in a medium to large warehouse and for supervision of warehouse personnel. Essential Functions Function 1: Manage all activities as it relates to the parts warehouse for OFM Housing Maintenance; purchase and order parts, materials and equipment, receive parts, order verification, order reconciling, establish operating procedures and purchasing guidelines for ordering parts, inventory management, pro card reconciliation, PO reconciliation, work order distribution and follow up with Maintenance Workers, coordinate purchase and delivery of mattresses, implementation processes for energy conservation. 75 % Time Function 2: In vacant units, manage standing POs including production kitchen equipment, extermination, appliances, etc., review vacant apartments and residence halls for repairs before students move in, manage fire and life safety equipment in the residence halls and apartments, monitor exterior building envelopes and identify maintenance needs, work with other supervisors and departments to support the summer conference programs in the residence halls, coordinate furniture purchases and deliveries. 25 % Time Function 3: % Time Function 4: % Time Function 5: % Time Function 6: % Time Function 7: % Time Function 8: % Time Marginal/Incidental Functions Marginal/Incidental Functions: Other functions as assigned. Qualifications Required Qualifications: High school graduation or equivalent. Four years of warehouse experience, including one year of forklift experience and one year of supervisory experience. Standard warehouse equipment and knowledge of computer terminal. Accuracy in maintaining warehouse records, processing issues and receipts. Working conditions are considered acceptable, but occasionally involve lifting, standing and carrying and exposure to hazards common in a warehouse environment.
