Financial Analyst Purpose Purpose: Assures that ARRI financial operations are efficient and effective controls are in place for a large variety of companies and government organizations. Essential Functions Function 1: Account reconciliation. Assure customer invoicing is timely and accurate. Prepare reliable monthly account summaries and program recommendations for Associate Director and Director. Audit procurement cards (monthly). Work with Purchasing to assure competitive bidding and capital procurement for ARRI. Review specifications and support documentation prior to order. Verify contract effort reporting. Special Projects such as the Department Financial Policy and Procedures Manuals. 55 % Time Function 2: Assure that ARRI external customers experience smooth financial and contractual transactions by providing an interface with respect to billing and contractual deliverables. Provides organized financial operations so that deliverables to both customers program calendar and UTA financial calendar are met. 25 % Time Function 3: Assures that ARRI programs have proper accounting and charge allocation. Assures that that all ARRI key internal and external fiscal requirements are met. Candidate will be responsible for multiple external programs and special projects. Approve department DEFINE documents 10 % Time Function 4: Works with researchers on programs and develops pricing for contracts. Assures that proper interface with Contracts and Intellectual Property agreements are in place. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. 5 years of progressively responsible experience in finance or accounting with experience in planning, forecasting and financial analysis.
