THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT ARLINGTON ADMINISTRATIVE AND PROFESSIONAL (NON-TEACHING) JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE: Director of Fort Worth Center Operations CODE: 0345 FUNCTION: Fort Worth Center Operations DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for overall facility management of technology, capital assets, human resources, security, building. Collaborate in identifying and implementing new academic programming at the bachelors and masters level. Supervise, collaborate and direct staff in developing Center events and functions. Primary point of contact in Fort Worth for UT Arlington departments, faculty and support services. Responsible for placing, managing, developing and approving ad designs for the Fort Worth Center advertising. Collaborate and coordinate advertising buys with UT Arlington colleges/departments. Coordinate and develop Fort Worth Center-based student support services. Manage the Fort Worth Center Alumni Association Chapter. Responsible for monitoring, approving and controlling financial transactions and budgetary allocations. Number of employees supervised (non-students) 2 Number of students supervised 1 INTERNAL CONTROL: Responsible for the design, execution, and effectiveness of a system of internal controls which provides reasonable assurance that department operations are effective and efficient, department assets are safeguarded, department financial information is reliable, and the department complies with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. WORKING CONDITIONS: Exposure to standard office conditions; Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation; Use of manual dexterity; Climbing of stairs; Lifting and moving. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree. Four years of related experience. Knowledge of university policies and procedures. Strong working knowledge of Define and university accounting procedures.
