Administrative Assistant I Purpose Purpose: Serve as a key member of the Athletic Development team by providing necessary administrative support to the Sr. Associate Athletic Director for Development and the Development Coordinator. Essential Functions Function 1: Responsible for managing administrative functions for the Athletic Development staff, including correspondence, files, email, voice mail, travel arrangements and calendar management. 10 % Time Function 2: Schedule internal and external meetings and prospect appointments. 5 % Time Function 3: Prepare correspondence and briefing materials on donors and prospects. Respond to inquiries by phone, in person or by mail. 20 % Time Function 4: Prepare documents regarding expenditures. Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare vouchers for payment and reimbursement. 5 % Time Function 5: Help coordinate and work at athletic events such as Hall of Honor, golf tournaments, Maverick Club functions and other fundraising events. 20 % Time Function 6: Maintain Raiser's Edge database records to track donor activity and record updates. Assist with preparation of solicitation materials and manage confidential information on donors and prospects. 20 % Time Function 7: Maintain database for Maverick Club. 20 % Time Function 8: % Time Marginal/Incidental Functions Marginal/Incidental Functions: Other functions as assigned. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 1 year upper level secretarial experience OR high school graduation or equivalent with 5 years of increasingly responsible administrative, secretarial or clerical experience.
