DATA ENTRY All scan sheets should be filled in with pencil. The scanner cannot read ink. The scanner is very sensitive to erasures. Format of file produced by data entry scanning process: text file with data in this format will be emailed to client when data entry is requested on scanning submittal sheet. In the biographical and response areas, a blank is stored if no response was marked and an asterisk (*) is stored if two or more responses were marked. The serial number field of the header indicates the order in which the sheets were scanned.
