Supplementary material will be hosted as it is provided to the Royal Society, so please ensure that
you format it as you are happy for it to appear online, and have proof-read it carefully.
Tips:
-
Include details of your main paper, including the doi. This could be included as a header as
in this template, or as a title.
-
Give your documents a title where possible.
-
Keep references to an absolute minimum as these are not recognised by many indexing
services.
-
Follow conventions used in your paper as much as possible, e.g. Vancouver referencing.
-
If supplying Word documents, PDFs, figures etc, combine them into one document, i.e.
figures with captions and any text in one document. Only supply separate file types for
material that can’t be included in a Word document (e.g. large data tables, videos etc.).
-
Standardise your font and formatting throughout
-
Include a copyright line as shown below, either as a footer or at the end of the document.
