The Office of the Vice President of Instruction will support and facilitate the development, processing, and data storage of new degrees, diplomas, and certificates. The Office of the Vice President of Instruction will support and facilitate plans to increase measurable results in student retention and transfer rates. The Office of the Vice President of Instruction will support and facilitate plans for the periodic and systematic review of the 5 General Education Learning outcomes/competencies. The Office of the Vice President of Instruction will support and facilitate targeted goals and objectives of the QEP. The Director of Distance Learning will develop a plan to implement “Quality Matters”. Provide facilities that support the growth of the college (CFCC Goal #2) The Assistant Vice President of Instructional Operations will develop a plan that maximizes the use of existing classroom facilities to support the growth of the college. In collaboration with stakeholders, the Assistant Vice President of Instructional Operations will improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and coordination of designated facility rental services through enhanced organization and communication. Incorporate the appropriate use of technology (CFCC Goal #3) The Assistant Vice President of Instructional Operations will expand the pilot of R-25 software to support optimal use of classroom facilities. The Assistant Vice President of Instructional Operations will refine and adjust the processes and protocols established to correct and maintain the congruity and quality of curricular information within the multiple databases thereby ensuring information consistency and accuracy. The Assistant Vice President of Instructional Operations will refine and adjust the processes and protocols established to provide for the accurate and timely delivery of schedule and catalog information. The Office of the Vice President of Instruction will support and facilitate the development of plans to address the technology training needs of faculty and staff in support of professional development and academic continuity. Enhance the teaching and learning process through the provision of adequate, up-to-date equipment and learning resources (CFCC Goal #4) The Office of the Vice President of Instruction will support and facilitate the development of plans for streamlining media support services while improving efficiency and effectiveness of services. The Office of the Vice President of Instruction will support and facilitate the development of plans to adjust and implement year 2 of the 3 year schedule developed for classroom equipment replacement within budget parameters. Provide increased access to educational opportunities through distance learning (CFCC Goal #5) The Office of the Vice President of Instruction will support and facilitate the development of plans to develop an academic continuity plan to sustain instructional operations and to enable affected students to continue their academic studies during the response, aftermath, and recovery phases of any disruption caused by a natural disaster, humaninduced disaster, or other precipitating factor. Strengthen partnerships (CFCC Goal #6) The Office of the Vice President of Instruction will support and facilitate the development of plans to establish partnerships with business, industry, and government to meet their evolving needs and to secure additional resources for upgrading instructional facilities and equipment. Cultivate an excellent, highly qualified faculty and staff (CFCC Goal #8) The Office of the Vice President of Instruction will support and facilitate the development of plans to address the training needs of faculty and staff. Promote diversity at all levels of the college (CFCC Goal #9) The Office of the Vice President of Instruction will support and facilitate the development of plans to develop a proactive model for delivery of learning services that promote learning for minority male communities within our service area. Enhance internal communication (CFCC Goal #13) The Office of the Vice President of Instruction will support and facilitate the refinement of communication networks established to enhance internal communication within the instructional area to include: Instructional Council Meetings, Staff Meetings, Regular meetings with Department Secretaries led by Admin Assistant to the VPI, Department Meetings. The Office of the Vice President of Instruction will provide for accurate and up-to-date Advisory Committee Membership and Contact Information.
