I also enjoyed being a member of the County Council and working with younger 4-Hers at day camps and workshops. Life Skills gained: The list of life skills gained from my experiences in 4-H are endless. Having the opportunities to interact with your peers in settings from business meetings to fun events to competitive events are priceless. My experiences in 4-H have helped shape my abilities to be an active leader in college clubs & activities, along with the opportunity to build my network within the agriculture industry. Advice to 4-H’ers: Get Involved!! You are only limited by your own ambitions and you get out of things what you put into them. Learning how to interact with others on a professional level, speaking in public and conducting yourself with integrity will be beneficial to you in everything you do. In 4-H you have the opportunity to build a strong foundation for a successful future and the best part is, you’ll have fun every step of the way!
