Glossary
Undergraduate – Students enrolled in programmes at the St. Augustine campus which lead to the acquisition of a
Certificate, UG Diploma or First Degree.
Postgraduate – Students enrolled in Higher Degree programmes at the St. Augustine campus which lead to the acquisition
of a qualification beyond a first degree such as the PG Diploma, Taught Master, Master of Philosophy, Doctorate
etc.
Off Campus – Students enrolled in programmes that are administered at UWI affiliated institutions and are not located on
the St. Augustine Campus.
Other Students – Students enrolled in courses undeclared, summer programmes and pre-university programmes.
Student/Staff Ratio – Measuring headcounts, this is the ratio of full-time, part-time and evening students enrolled to fulltime and part-time academic teaching staff employed within faculties.
Nationals – Students whose nation of origin is Trinidad and Tobago.
