This form must be filled out by a club leader or other adult related to the 4-H program. PHILIP SWEERS CHARACTER IN SERVICE AWARD $100 cash and certificate will be awarded to one junior 4-H member and one intermediate/senior 4-H member. The member earning this award must display the following: High quality of character as demonstrated through respect for peers and adults as well as a good work ethic, sense of responsibility and honesty. Enthusiasm Eagerness to volunteer Loyalty to club through attendance at meetings and participation in club sponsored activities. (ex: club community service project, 4-H food stand work, fairground set up and clean up) Willingness to promote 4-H by bringing in new members This award is NOT contingent on a record book or the level of achievement with projects at the Hancock County Fair. All Hancock County 4-H members are eligible. Members must be nominated by a club leader or other adult related to the 4-H program. Selection will be made by the Sweers family and the award will be presented at the county awards program.
