Want to be A Fashionista? Check out Clothing Event! There are 3 events you can participate in! Clothing Selection—4-H’ers select and purchase an outfit for themselves to develop skills in buying clothing for a particular purpose i.e. interview, holiday, etc. Clothing may be purchased, new or used, from any source. Fashion Revue—4-H’ers construct, hand knit, or crochet a garment for themselves. If a shirt or sweater is worn under a coat or jacket, it may be purchased or made; applications added to a garment are not considered Fashion Revue exhibits i.e. a purchased sweater/jeans to which you add lace does not count. $15 Challenge—4-H’ers select and purchase an outfit at a consignment shop i.e. Goodwill or a garage sale for themselves without spending over $15. NOTE: Receipts must be attached to the $15 Challenge Report Form; ask garage sale seller to hand write a receipt including item, price, and the seller's signature. Your outfit cannot be from a clearance rack at a department store*, discount store*, gift*, or hand-me-down*. *Would be in Clothing Selection category.
