for all backcountry trips). If you do not have the required level of certification at the time you submit your proposal or it

Fly from BOS or other east coast city to Shannon; transportation to start of walk in
Castletownbere. Arrive Sunday AM, begin walk on Monday; five days of walking, Inn
to Inn with baggage transport; rest day in Lauragh where other walking or excursions are
possible (we will be offering a half day tour to Derreen Gardens and a possible 1/2 day
boat ride in Kenmare Bay; transport to airport on the day after we complete the walk.
Total planned distance is ~60 miles.
B&Bs in each of six towns along the Way.
Breakfast and packed lunches for all five walking days are included with the
accommodations; dinners each day and lunch on the rest and travel days will be on our
own at each person's expense; pubs and other dining options are available in most towns

condition. The trip screening process will involve e-mail and telephone communications,

We are using Eurotracks, part of MakeTracks which is the same outfit for this year's trek
to book our accommodations and transport us and our luggage as needed. Because it is
difficult to find accommodations for a large group, we will need to be in more than one
Inn in each area; Eurotracks has the contacts to ensure we get space. They have given us
the same price for 2013 as was used for the 2012 trip.

Eurotracks arranges self-guided tours in which walkers take care of themselves; the only
injuries they hear about are those which cause participants to cut short a trip. Emergency

through February 2013. If actual costs (expenses already incurred on your behalf and
