A mix of restaurants and grocery bought food. Breakfasts and dinners will be included in the price, lunches will be bought on own when we go to the grocery stores. Banff has no lack of restaurants. Melissa's in town for breakfast. Dinners will be a mix of all together and smaller groups. There will be a welcome dinner the second night at the Banff Springs Hotel in Banff . Lake Louise has far less to offer for meals and a bit harder with a larger group. We'll arrange for some group dinners at the Lake Louise Hostel and the Peyto Cafe.

Grocery Stores: Both towns have them, although the Safeway in Banff is far bigger than the small grocery store in Lake Louise. However, both offer plenty of options for lunches (make own trail lunches) and the hostels have fridges and kitchens to prepare the food. We'll buy the group sandwich bags, saran wrap, etc for everyone to use. The hostels also offer bagged lunches, but they are expensive.

Participant deposit

Cancellation policy

What will your cancellation policy be for the participants?

Minimum numbers

Will you still run the trip if you do not get the minimum number?

The AMC cancellation policy is based on the simple precept that your cancellation shall not raise the cost of the trip to any of the participants or the leaders.

Therefore, if you cancel, your refund will be all that you have paid, less expenses already incurred and future expenses which can not be avoided. You may forfeit the amount budgeted for your lodging, car rental and trip overhead, which is most of the trip fee. If you cancel and the trip still fully books, then your fees will be refunded in full with the exception that, after airline tickets have been purchased, you own the tickets and that part of the fee cannot be refunded.

Yes No If yes, please describe conditions:

We should be able to run the trip with as few as 10 by renting 1 less vehicle. For example if we have 10 participants we can cut the car from the budget and save enough money to keep the cost the same. Less than 10 and we would not run the trip.
