Six days of hiking in the Sedona area, 5-12 miles and 200-500' elev gain per day with
visits to ruins, mesas, and lookouts.
We plan to stay at the Sedona Real Inn in West Sedona, 5 minute drive from heart of
downtown. Breakfast in included.
Breakfast is included in hotel price. Lunch will be make-your-own with fixings
purchased by trip leaders at local markets. Dinner will be at local restaurants with a
daily budget that includes tax and gratuity.
We will rent three mini vans. Each mini van can accommodate 6 people with luggage.

This trip will introduce AMC members to hiking in the Southwest and will

Rough trail, stream crossings, rain, snakes, and scorpions.
We will screen participants for fitness and experience. We will check local weather
everyday for adverse conditions. We will check trail conditions before proceeding. We
will advise participants to be on the lookout for snakes, scorpions and other potentially
dangerous wildlife.

30 days prior to first night's stay for group rerservation; 48 hours notice to cancel an
individual room.
$500 due with application and balance due three months before start of trip.
Once you are accepted on the trip, a $100 cancellation fee will apply. A refund of
amounts paid in excess of $100 will be given to the extent that it does not raise the cost
of the trip to the other participants or the Leaders. If your spot is filled, then you may
be entitled to a full refund, less the $100 cancellation fee. If your spot cannot be filled,
then you will receive a refund for any part of the trip that can be cancelled by the
leaders, less the $100 cancellation fee. There is a possbility that you may not receive
any refund. If the trip is cancelled, you will receive a full refund for any deposits and
payments.
