Local Transportation Please describe your plans for local transportation Form Revised July 2013 Particpants would fly into Merced airport, stay overnight in Merced, and the following morning take the YART bus directly to the Yosemite Lodge at the Falls for a 6 night stay in Yosemite Valley. We will have daily excursions in the Valley or to Badger Pass ski area for cross country skiing or hiking depending upon trail conditions. We will then travel on YART bus back to Merced for a final overnight prior to flying home. We will stay in 2-3 star hotel (double occupancy rooms) in Merced the first and last nights of the trip due to time of flights and YART bus schedule into the park. Within the park we will stay at the Yosemite Lodge at the Falls in double occupancy rooms. Breakfast will be included each day at the hotels, all dinners will be included and will be eaten either at Yosemite Lodge food court or at local restaurant when in Merced for our first and final nights. Lunch will be eaten either on the trail or at the ski area and will be at the participants own expense. We will utilize the YARTS buses for transport to/from Merced and YNP. Within the park we will utilize the free Yosemite shuttle service within the valley and to the Badger Pass ski area.
