Next day transfer to Zahara de la Sierra for half day warm up hike and olive oil tasting. Next 3 nights are spent in Grazalema National Park in small, rural family runner hiker´s hotel. 3 day hikes in this park. After transfer to near Ronda where there is a full day hike and a rest day in Ronda town. From Ronda go to Granada region for 2 days of hiking in the Sierra Nevada National Park, staying in a rural white village, Guejar de la Sierra. The tour finishes with a guided walking day in Granada city and a visit to the Alhambra Palace. Final night in Granada city center. Two way radios are available and will be brought by the local outfitter so the front and back of the walking/hiking group can be in touch. In this region of Spain, helicopter evacuation from the Guardia Civil (mountain patrol), is likely - pending availability at the time. Paramedic ambulances are stationed (if not being used), at nearly all remote villages in this region now. AREA I - GRAZALEMA: These are relatively remote trails but never more than a 1 hour walk from a major road. If helicopter is unavailable, transporting a patient on foot may be necessary. AREA II - GRANADA SIERRA NEVADA: Conditions of evacuation are identical to above.
