The trip includes a day of hiking at Arches National Park and a 5 night, 6 day, fully
supported rafting trip on the Colorado River, returning for two nights in Moab, providing
an opportunity to explore Moab for a day. See prospectus with itinerary.
2 nights at primitive cabins in a Moab Campground, 5 nights camping on the river, 2
nights in a local Moab motel.
Pizza night of arrival, group prepared BBQ night 2, meals on the river supplied by
O.A.R.S., group prepared continental breakfasts, 2 group dinners at local restaurants,

This trip will provide participants with a unique wilderness experience visiting,
not only amazing geological formations, but physical evidence of Native
American habitats that few get to witness which will lead to further cultural
exploration. This recreational experience will reinforce the need to preserve
these special places for future generations. The sensitivity of this region will
provide an opportunity to teach land and river Leave No Trace ethics.
