If Form Revised February 2014 Bridging the Mediterranian between Spain and France. This spring hiking and discovery tour follows the Mediterranean coasts of Northern Spain and Southern France. With comfortable stays in selected destinations we will explore on foot the highlights of what makes this part of the world so special. We'll see the sites of dazzling Barcelona including it's natural spaces and of course the famous monastery at Montserrat. On the Costa Brava, we will walk the forested peninsula and coastal paths and visit the magical homestead of Salvador Dali, including a visit to the museum in his honor. I France we will enjoy the splendors of Provence and devote time to historical centers where tree shaded plazas and frsh fruit stalls signify Mediterranian roots. And of course we will discover centuries old villages in the foothills of the Alps, where our hikes take us between hamlets, along canyons and to secluded lakes. Our tour ends at Nice, where an extended stay is possible - with the option of visiting The kingdom of Monaco or continueing onward in France. 10 nights accomodations twin share ( hotels are all a minimum of 3 star ). 5 nights will be in Spain and 5 nights will be in France.
