Will fly into San Francisco and board 7 passenger vans for travel to/from the park, then utilize courtesy shuttle service within the valley. Double occupancy hotel rooms at Yosemite Lodge at The Falls in Yosemite Valley. Each room will have mini refrigerator, private bath and separate entrance. Dining facility is in a separate building on the hotel grounds. Breakfast and dinner daily at food court at Yosemite Lodge, we may chose to have dinner at the Curry Village buffet on one or two nights. The main recreation will be hiking with the opportunity to attend ranger led evening educational programs in the park. Will also advise participants to keep their packs in the bear boxes so as to not attract rodents in their tents and to leave window and door flaps of tents open to maximize air circulation within the tents. Yosemite personnel have also increased their cleaning protocols within each tent since the Hantavirus outbreak of 2012. EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN Please describe your plans for dealing with emergencies. Full refund if reservation is canceled 7 days prior to arrival. $1000 Payment #2 $1245 due on January 15th, 2014 If you cancel after being accepted for the trip, $50 is non-refundable. But if you cancel after January 15th, 2014, minimally $200 is nonrefundable; if (and only if) another person takes your place. We will establish a waiting list. Should another person replace you, you will be charged only the $200 cancellation fee. However, your cancellation shall not raise the cost of the trip to any of the participants or trip leaders. Thus if you cancel and are not replaced, you will forfeit the $200 plus the per capita expenses already incurred and any other unpaid expenses for which the trip cannot obtain a refund. You may forfeit the entire trip fee. Flight tickets once purchased become your property and are generally non-refundable. We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance.
