REPLY: This is something that we need to address strongly; if we get a request to visit or participate in some specific project or would like to do some social work, we can easily arrange that. 12. What are the main obstacles that you find in minimizing the environmental impact of your business? REPLY: The main obstacles are: education and also practices; we believe that tourism should be –by nature – sustainable, because we need to take care of our raw material to deliver a product, but sometimes practices do not consider this. 13. What environmental issues do you currently face with your tours, or in the areas that you visit? REPLY: Environmental management I would say. Some areas receive a big amount of travelers with no control and in some places, the lack of diversification of trails result in areas with an intense use which in turn damages them; Another issue is that there are little or no practices as to cultural impact and development, which is an interesting discussion we need to start.
