LOGISTICAL DETAILS OF TRIP
Summary
Please provide a description
of the trip and the activities
planned. If available, please
include or attach an itinerary.
Itinerary is in the Prospectus. This 9 day, 8 night cycle trip combines daily moderate
cycling (approximately 30 miles a day) through Japan’s Noto peninsula and the Japanese
Alps. This area offers a superb blend of smooth, mostly low traffic cycling amidst a
smorgasbord of culture and history. From the famous city of “Kanazawa,” we jump right
into the very best of Japanese history and culture, from famous castles and classic
gardens, to streetscapes left mostly unchanged for over 400 years. We will visit morning
markets and cycle past rural landscapes that evoke the ancient samurai warriors of days
gone by. We will visit the Unesco heritage town of Wajima as we cycle thru mountain
and seascapes. Throughout we use a combination of accommodations from traditional
style inns, to luxury “Ryokans” to western style hotels.

(sushi) is a regular side dish, and is considered a succulent delicacy.
Participants travel by air to Tokyo, and then fly to Wajima. The trip will begin in the
