3 days in Darjeeling; visit the Everest Museum, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute,
Zoo, Tea plantation, Buddhist Temple. Trek for 6 days mostly along a high ridge with
spectacular views of Everest, Makalu, Lhotse and Kanchenjunga. Trip graded as
moderate. Highest elevation is 11,800 ft. 2 days in Kalimpong, once part of an important
trade route between Tibet, Sikkim and India. "rated as one of the finest walks in the
world."
5 nights in tents on trek. 6 nights in hotels, double occupancy.
All meals are included on trek, most other meals are included.
Drive from Bagdogra to Darjeeling and then to start of trek. Drive from Kalimpong to
Bagdogra. Transportation provided by Rimo Expeditions.
