Applicants must be a current Ida County 4-H club or member. 2. No financial aid is provided for programs not part of the 4-H program. 3. Grants will be granted up to $1,000.00. 4. Grant requests may include club or county workshops, speakers for meetings or workshops, community service projects, or other educational or service related projects. 5. Any permission required for completion of the project must be obtained before submitting the proposal and included with the grant request. A letter of support from the governing body of the project location must accompany the proposal. 6. Participants should bear some portion of the activity cost. 7. Portions of a project supported by other funds must be included in the proposal. 8. Contributions to the project other than money must be listed as in-kind contributions. Include an estimated value of any in-kind donations. 9. Money left at the end of the project must be returned to the Ida County 4-H Foundation. 10. Projects are to be completed in one year. 11. An evaluation at the completion of the project must be submitted to the Ida County 4-H Foundation. Please include copies of photos, newspaper clippings and other pertinent information. 12. The Ida County 4-H Foundation has a limited amount of money for grants. These funds will be allocated among as many different individuals as feasible. Therefore, groups requesting assistance for a second opportunity will not receive as high a priority as someone who has not previously received assistance.
