The East Pottawattamie Extension Council reviewed their policy regarding out-of-county camp and conference scholarships in February of 2011. They feel very strongly that youth should be encouraged to benefit from these events.
The Extension Office is encouraging all 4-H youth to apply and to use the opportunity to advance their communication skills while sharing their experiences with the Extension Council and other county youth.

As a recipient of an Iowa 4-H Conference Full Scholarship, youth must:
 Speak to your club about the event
 Create a Power Point Presentation or equivalent and present it to the Extension Council within 1 month of your event. (Power Point shall be available to the county for publicity use)

Speak to the assembly at 4-H Jamboree.

Attend the entire State 4-H Youth Conference in 2012.
Use this space to tell us why you would like to attend the 2012 Iowa 4-H Youth Conference.
Please allow 30 days for processing of scholarship check.
4-Hers, only, may apply.
Failure to follow-up with obligations following your conference experience will require you to pay back your scholarship.
Only ½ of this scholarship total will go towards individual youth’s $250 per year scholarship allotment.
