Executive summary Please provide a brief description of the trip and the activities planned. From El Paso, TX, continue on to the rugged beauty of the Southeast New Mexico mountains, Guadalupe National Park and Carlsbad Caverns. We will see desert flowers, rocky peaks, sheer cliffs and rugged canyons. The Guadalupe Mountains are an oasis in the desert. We will be climbing the highest peak in Texas, 8,749’ Guadalupe Peak. We will also pay a visit to nearby Carlsbad Caverns, considered by most who see them to be the most beautiful of all caverns. Late afternoons can be spent relaxing at our motel, visiting historic sites in the nearby mountain towns and enjoying southwestern foods at area restaurants. Fly to and from El Paso, TX.
