for all backcountry trips). If you do not have the required level of certification at the time you submit your proposal or it
will expire before the date of your trip, you will need to make arrangements to recertify in a timely manner and you
should describe your plans to do so in a note.

We will visit interpretive exhibits and view film presentation at Banff, Lake Louise and
Yoho visitor Centers as well as at Icefield Visitor Center to learn about wilderness and
conservation issues: habitat, wildlife, forestry. We will visit Ranger presentations at Lake
Louise Camp ground.

Bear sightings/warnings may be posted. Will check with the Ranger station each day to
insure that the hike is bear free. Both leaders carry bear spray and train to use it. The

The AMC cancellation policy is based on the simple precept that your cancellation
