Participants and their tent/cottage mates are to provide for their other meals. The campground has a restaurant that serves 3 meals daily. There are opportunities to shop in Cruz Bay for food provisions and there are opportunities to dine out in local restaurants as well. Yes No If yes, please describe below what you will do: This trip is designed for participants to experience the natural history, flora, and fauna of St. John through participation in daily hikes and snorkel trip led by AMC leaders and National Park Rangers. Participants will learn about the unique vegetation that varies from one side of the island to the other and explore ruins from the sugar plantations. In addition, participants will have the option of signing up for a morning to volunteer with the National Park and Friends of the Virgin Islands in possibly clearing trash on the Brown Bay or trail maintainance work. If participant elects to use the arranged group flights, airfare is due upon booking. Balance of trip fee due 1/7/2011. Cancellations prior to 9/15/10 will be entitled to a refund on money deposited with the AMC less a minimum administration charge of $100.00 plus the cost of air ticket if already issued. Cancellations after 9/15/10 will be subject to a $200.00 cancellation charge, and refunds will only be refunded to the extent that the cost of the trip for other participants is not affected. Most domestic airlines no longer give refunds for cancellations; instead, they issue coupons for a future trip with an administrative charge of $100.00 and an expiration date.
