The very nature of this trip focuses on conservation, education, and recreation. We will

guide holds degrees in Archeology and Geology and our experience in Sicily was that he,
in addition to our Mt. Atena guides, provided an enormous amount of knowledge and

COST AND BUDGET DETAILS
Foreign currencies
For int’l trips list each foreign
currency, the current $US
dollar exchange rate and what
contingencies you have if that
rate changes. If a tour
operator or agent is being
used, what currency is the
agent to be paid in?
The cost of the trip from the outfitter is 1450 Euro. At an exchange rate of 1.38 that is
$2000. A 1.5% transfer rate by TD Bank is approximately $30 per participant. That total
is $480. I have also built a contingency of 4% to allow for the transfer rate and any other
minor fluctuations. The trip is all inclusive; there are no participant costs except for
lunches and incidentals on their own. The 2010 Sicily trip was built on this same
platform and we used virtually none of the contingency except for a group dinner on the
final night, which in this trip is provided by the outfitter. We do not want this trip to
advertise for more than $3,000 as we feel strongly that it will deter possible participants
from even looking at the prospectus Consequently, we will add into the prospectus a
paragraph stating that if the Euro exchange rate goes higher than the current estimate, a
surcharge will be assessed
