National Forests in the Cottonwood Canyons area, Park City area, and Kamas area. A
side trip into Salt Lake City for sightseeing is also a possibility

discuss the morphology of snowflakes and the effect of temperature on the formation of
snow crystals. We may also visit the Mormon Tabernacle in SLC

Both leaders are members of the National Ski Patrol as Nordic Patrollers. Both are
trained in emergencies in and extrication procedures from the back-country. Otherwise,
the leaders will be equipped with numbers for area emergency services.
