If you must use a bank statement from another person, such as your parent, you must submit an original letter of support (both in English) from that person stating the actual dollar amount, and a letter from the person stating that it will be used to support you during your studies at Washington University. For U.S. visa purposes, you must be able to demonstrate that you have at least $9,525 at your disposal for one semester or $19,050 at your disposal for the full academic year.
