INSTRUCTIONS FOR SCC TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER AWARD APPLICATION
Purpose of the award
The Technology Transfer award is to support travel of a graduate student to another laboratory
for the purpose of learning a technique not available in the present laboratory or university.
Amount of the award
Up to $750 each toward eligible expenses (travel expenses and necessary laboratory supplies).
Eligibility
Graduate students are eligible to apply for this award provided he/she:
• Is chapter member in good standing (dues paid prior to or at the time of application);
• Is supported by mentor and by principal investigator of the laboratory to be visited;
• Has demonstrated need.
