ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
FOR STUDENT TEACHING
The following academics requirements must be met to student teach
 2.5 GPA cumulative
 3.0 GPA cumulative in EDTE courses
 2.0 (minimum) in each certification course (course summary courses)
 All endorsement and program requirements met(every course listed on
the course summary)
If you are deficient in any of the above areas, please submit by October 1st,
a typewritten document containing the following information:






Your name
Your major
SOE Advisor
Unofficial transcript of your Gonzaga coursework
Extenuating circumstances that caused you to be deficient
A narrative describing why you should be allowed to student teach
and how you will be will be successful in student teaching
Deliver the typewritten documents to:
