Introduction
• A vehicular ad-hoc network is a kind of
mobile ad-hoc network.
• Each vehicle in VANET is equipped with a
radio interface for communication with
other vehicles in the network.
• The type of services that can be provided
over VANET can be broadly classified into
two categories:
– Broadcast application service
– Transaction application service.

• Vehicular ad-hoc network is not a reliable
network.
• Reliability depends on the density of
vehicles.

Simulation Results
• We had five road side units deployed in a
(5000m * 1000 m) terrain.
• We have not simulated the internet
interface in our simulation.
• In this paper, we have tested the
performance of our approach using the
AODV routing protocol (Ad hoc On
Demand Distance Vector).
